Amateur Radio Callsign: KC9GAV
I've been granted a technician license by the FCC on 5/7/2004. My new callsign is KC9GAV and the handle is Brad . The major reason I'm a ham is for storm chasing. As a storm chaser, ham radio bands are the best places to report observations. Now that I'm a freelance storm chaser I do not have an agency to relay my reports.
Although I am excited to be a new ham, I do not have any immeidate plans to obtain a higher license. This is mainly because I have way too many hobbies as it is. Maybe someday though!
If you have any reccomendation on equipment you can email me with the contact form.
