2007 Storm Chasing Vacation Cancelled 
Due to uncontrollable circumstances Scott Sims and I are forced to cancel our 2007 storm chasing vacation. We were both laid off from Evolution Multimedia and obviously don't have the resources for the 2007 vacation. We hope to have several local chases this year, but no vacation.
2006 Storm Chasing Vacation Results
Our 2006 storm chasing vacation was enjoyable even though we didn't bag many good thunderstorms. Scott and I were able to enjoy the vast beauty of the plains. We visited the Sand Hills region of Nebraska, and then went into the Black Hills of South Dakota. We visited Mount Rushmore and drove around the area. We also traveled into Wyoming to see the terrain. The foothils of Eastern Wyoming are very barren. Towns were spaced 70+ miles apart and there are almost no trees. It was absolutely beautiful. I'm in love with the vast nothingness of the plains. Unfortunately we didn't see any real tornadoes on this trip. Check out the chases we went on over the 2006 storm season.
